About the Role:
We’re looking for a driven and curious junior software engineer to join our New Zealand team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to kickstart their career in software development within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. You’ll be supported by experienced engineers and contribute to real-world projects that power the movement of goods across industries.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in the full software development lifecycle—from ideation and development to testing and deployment—while learning modern technologies and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or near completion).
- Strong interest in software development and problem-solving.
- Some experience (coursework, projects, internships) with one or more programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, Java, or C++.
Preferred Experience:
- Internship or personal project experience using cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
- Exposure to web development frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular).
- Familiarity with Git, version control, and collaborative software workflows.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with experienced developers to build and improve our logistics platform.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions and stand-ups.
- Learn to design, implement, test, and debug software components.
- Support the development team in delivering solutions that solve real customer problems.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.
