The Role
We're seeking an Intermediate Software Engineer to join our core application team and contribute to the next phase of our platform evolution. You'll work across our full technology stack—from scalable backend architecture to intuitive user interfaces—building new features and supporting the growth of our product.
This role offers the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers, collaborate closely with product managers, and take ownership of projects as your skills grow.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development
- Build and maintain features across our Vue.js frontend, Node.js backend, and React Native mobile applications
- Help integrate AI-driven functionality into our solutions
- Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to translate logistics requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to the full development cycle from design to deployment and monitoring
Collaboration & Growth
- Participate in code reviews and pair programming to improve your skills and share knowledge
- Work within established technical direction while contributing ideas to improve architecture, tooling, and practices
- Follow and help refine engineering best practices
Platform Engineering
- Assist in optimizing performance across Google Cloud infrastructure, Firestore, Cloud Spanner, and Elasticsearch
- Support monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes
- Contribute to ensuring security and reliability across the system
- Join the on-call rotation for production support (compensated), once you’re trained and confident
Required Qualifications
Core Technical Skills
- 2–5 years of development experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js backend development
- Experience with Vue.js or similar modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, SolidJS)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred, AWS/Azure also valuable)
- Database knowledge with NoSQL systems (Firestore or equivalent)
Modern Development Practices
- Interest in AI tools and modern development practices
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker)
- Understanding of API design and microservices concepts
- Some exposure to automated testing frameworks
Soft Skills & Experience
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Comfortable working in an agile environment
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn from senior engineers
- Solid problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience with React Native mobile development
- Knowledge of real-time systems or event-driven architectures
- Background in logistics, transportation, or supply chain technology
- Interest in UX/UI design principles
